The New Hampshire Lottery® would be nothing without its retailers; they really know how to make their tickets top sellers and have helped us reach our total of more than $10 billion in sales and, more importantly, more than $3 billion to New Hampshire public education since 1964.
Today, there are more than 1,400 retailers – grocery stores, convenience stores, Mom & Pop stores, restaurants, bars and social clubs - across the state who turn a small space into a big opportunity by making big profits from that small footprint by selling New Hampshire Lottery tickets. As a bonus, retailers who sell winning tickets receive a generous commission, along with cashing bonuses, incentive checks and more as well as gaining a reputation for being a "lucky" store, bringing in even more customers to their business.

How do I become a New Hampshire Lottery retailer?

Please be advised that a part of our processing includes an investigation of your personal credit history and a criminal background check of any owners, partners, members, managers or officers. All information is kept strictly confidential.
Once the paperwork arrives at our office, we will begin processing it. All paperwork must be fully completed, or it will be returned to you.
IMPORTANT
: Please be advised that it is the retailer’s responsibility to provide a dedicated outlet to be used exclusively for the lottery terminal. A dedicated electrical circuit originates from the circuit breaker panel and terminates in a dual electrical outlet. This must be located within 10 feet of the terminal and
nothing
else can be plugged into this outlet at any time. It is our responsibility for a new location to order and maintain the data communication line that will connect to your lottery terminal. Once your application has been approved we will request Consolidated Communications to install the necessary line. This line must be completed by Consolidated Communications and end within 2 feet of the proposed terminal location within your business.

Retailer Training:
All prospective lottery retailers
must
complete the mandatory online training, which includes a brief quiz and provides a printable certification upon completion. Successful completion of this training is required to become a licensed retailer. It is encouraged that store managers and employees who will be selling lottery products review this training on an annual basis. To sign up for retailer training please visit
