This is a game-changer

Mega Millions is about to be
BIGGER
and
BETTER
than ever with a new and improved game coming this April! You can expect larger prizes at every level, improved odds to win the jackpot, larger starting jackpots, faster growing jackpots, a built-in multiplier on every play and no break-even prizes. That means when someone wins, they’ll always win more than the cost of their play.
The new Mega Millions goes on sale on Saturday, April 5, 2025. The first draw in the new game format will take place Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
As part of the upcoming changes, the price of a play (a set of Mega Millions numbers) is changing from $2 to $5.
Why is the game changing? Players love larger, faster-growing jackpots, which the enhanced Mega Millions game will deliver. Mega Millions jackpots will now start at $50 million—more than double the $20 million starting jackpot of the current game! Jackpots will grow faster, and the new game will also deliver bigger prizes at every level. That’s more prize money for EVERY player with a winning ticket.
Get ready for big changes and bigger wins with the new Mega Millions coming this April 2025!
A Draw Countdown is in Effect for Multi-Draw Ticket Purchases!
If you purchase and play multi-draw Mega Millions tickets, which was up to 20 consecutive drawings for the next 10 weeks of play, you won’t be able to buy as many multi-draws in a row with the draw count down in effect. To close out the current game, multi-draw ticket purchases will decrease with each passing draw until the April 4, 2025 drawing. Again, with each passing Mega Millions drawing, there is one less multi-draw purchase available. This count down is in effect for both tickets sold in stores across New Hampshire as well as online, through NH iLottery.

Subscription Play through Auto-Renewal will end for Mega Millions on March 12, 2025.
For those of you who subscribe to your lucky Mega Millions numbers through auto-renewal with NH iLottery, your subscription will end after the March 12, 2025 draw. Again, this is all to get ready for the upcoming game change in early April. For those who have subscribed, you may purchase individual Mega Millions tickets or multi-draw tickets up until the last drawing on Friday, April 4, 2025. As of April 5, 2025, auto-renewal will be back on sale for the game so you can get back to your favorite way to play.
New Mega Millions Play Slips will be Available!
Starting April 5, 2025, new Mega Millions play slips will be available in-stores. Please remember to pick up some new slips if it’s your preferred way to play your lucky numbers. The current play slips will not work with the new game format.
