Mega Millions and Powerball Jackpot Changes

Mega Millions and Powerball are making changes to their jackpots.

Mega Millions and Powerball will estimate jackpot amounts based on ticket sales and interest rates, and will eliminate fixed minimum jackpots and fixed minimum increases between drawings. Powerball and Mega Millions are making these adjustments in light of the ongoing global pandemic and the necessary stay-at-home orders, which have impacted ticket sales and interest rates nationwide. Ticket prices will not change, prizes offered by matching winning numbers will not change and the odds of winning will not change.

It is important to share this information with you, our valued players. While we hope these changes are temporary, we will continue to keep you posted on changes to any of our games, procedures and protocols.
