NH Lottery Sets Sports Betting Record with Mobile Wagering Delivering More Than $4.5 Million to Education in November

CONCORD, NH – A record-breaking month of November has set the stage for the fifth anniversary of sports betting in New Hampshire. Sports betting generated more than $4.5 million in direct support for New Hampshire public education in November—the single highest monthly revenue total in New Hampshire sports betting history. New Hampshire Lottery players wagered more than $75 million in November.

The New Hampshire Lottery launched mobile sports betting in New Hampshire on December 30, 2019, and since that time, New Hampshire players have placed more than $3.4 billion in total handle, which has generated nearly $130 million for education. The November sports betting revenue total tops the previous high of $4 million in January 2024, raising the state’s take from sports betting to more than $14 million for the first five months of Fiscal Year 2025, a 10% increase from last fiscal year.

“We had a phenomenal November,” said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director, New Hampshire Lottery. “Interest in the NBA Cup and a strong NFL schedule, combined with the popularity of the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight, really pushed us over the top. We continue to build incredible momentum with sports betting month after month, year after year, and that’s a testament to the dedication of our remarkable team who, together with DraftKings, continues to respond strategically to industry trends and player demand. Our success with sports betting speaks for itself, and we’re proud that our work is providing critical funding to support the students, teachers and schools of New Hampshire.”

November wagering continued a trend that started earlier this fall, with betting on NFL and NCAA football heading for record numbers. So far this football season, bettors have wagered more than $134 million.

“While betting is fun and exciting, it is always important to do so responsibly,” McIntyre added. “We continue to encourage players to utilize DraftKings’ responsible gaming features, designed to help players become more knowledgeable about their play and keep their gaming as a fun source of entertainment.”

Together, DraftKings and the New Hampshire Lottery take responsible gaming seriously and the state-of-the-art DraftKings app offers consumers a number of responsible gaming tools, including My Stats Sheet, a gaming tool that gives players the ability to assess, track and interact with their personal gaming stats, as well as limit setting, cooling-off periods, and self-exclusion.

New Hampshire residents can download the DraftKings Sportsbook app to place wagers through DraftKings, the exclusive digital operator in New Hampshire. Sports fans can place bets on the DraftKings Sportsbook app via iOS and Android or online at Sportsbook.DraftKings.com.
