Concord, NH – Without a winner in Tuesday night’s (9/3) drawing, the New Hampshire Lottery is projecting Friday night’s (9/6) Mega Millions jackpot will increase to $740 million, which would be the seventh-largest Mega Millions jackpot on record. The New Hampshire Lottery estimates the one-time cash payout will jump to $366.3 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are determined before taxes are withheld.)
“Players have the chance to win nearly three-quarters of a billion dollars this Friday, and, if I’m not mistaken, New Hampshire is due for another Mega Millions winner,” said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director, New Hampshire Lottery. “Over the past few weeks, retailers across the state have seen players jumping at the opportunity to become the Granite State’s next multi-millionaire and with that, along with the convenience of purchasing tickets online, we anticipate a continued high volume of sales leading up to the drawing on Friday night.”
The Mega Millions drawing results from Tuesday, September 3, were: 12-41-43-52-55 MB-9 with a Megaplier of 4.
