Concord, NH – New Hampshire Lottery players have already placed more than 300,000 bets totaling nearly $8.5 million on the Boston Celtics during the team’s run through the 2024 NBA playoffs. The Celtics are currently up 2-0 on the Dallas Mavericks in the best-of-seven-game NBA Finals. As of Monday, June 10, about 90% of New Hampshire players were betting on the Celtics to be this year’s NBA Champions.

New Hampshire players are betting on game outcomes and point spreads, as well as betting on specific players, such as Jaylen Brown for most valuable player and Luka Doncic to score the most points and hit the most threes in the series. Players are also betting on individual player stats, such as points, rebounds and assists per game.

New Hampshire players have also been wagering on record-breaking performances throughout the playoffs, such as whether Michael Jordan’s record of 63 points in a single playoff game will be surpassed, Damian Lillard’s record of 12 three-pointers in a single playoff game will be broken, or if Steph Curry’s record of 34 three-pointers in a playoff series will be exceeded.
