Concord, NH – Mega Millions and Powerball continue to duel as New Hampshire Lottery players now have the chance to win an estimated $1.58 billion in combined jackpots for drawings Tuesday and Wednesday night. The New Hampshire Lottery projects tonight’s (3/19) Mega Millions jackpot will reach $893 million and Wednesday night’s (3/20) Powerball jackpot will reach $687 million. The estimated $893 million Mega Millions jackpot would be the sixth-largest Mega Millions jackpot on record.
The Mega Millions one-time cash payout is expected to increase to $421.4 million and the Powerball one-time cash payout is projected to increase to $327.3 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are determined before taxes are withheld.)

The estimated $893 million Mega Millions jackpot has been growing since December 8, 2023, when a lucky player in California purchased a $395 million jackpot-winning ticket. The anticipated $687 million Powerball jackpot has been growing since January 1, when a lucky player in Michigan purchased a $842.2 million jackpot-winning ticket.
The largest Powerball jackpot on record was $2.04 billion in November 2022, which was also the largest lottery jackpot in world history. The largest Mega Millions jackpot on record was $1.537 billion in October 2018.
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM and Powerball drawings are held Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59 PM.
