Saturday Night’s Powerball Jackpot to Jump to Estimated $925 Million

Concord, NH – The Powerball jackpot is quickly approaching the one-billion-dollar mark! The New Hampshire Lottery projects Saturday night’s (9/30) Powerball jackpot will grow to $925 million, which would make it the fourth-largest Powerball jackpot on record. The New Hampshire Lottery expects the one-time cash payout to increase to $432.4 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are determined before taxes are withheld.)

“Imagine all the things you could buy with $925 million! You could buy the house, I mean houses of your dreams, travel the world on your own private jet and so much more! The possibilities are endless, as it is such an exciting moment for our players,” said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director, New Hampshire Lottery. “Over the past few weeks, retailers across the state have seen players jumping at the opportunity to become New Hampshire’s next multi-millionaire and we anticipate a continued high volume of sales leading right up to the drawing this weekend. Remember, it only takes one ticket to win!”
