Concord, NH – Without a winner in Monday’s (9/11) drawing, the New Hampshire Lottery is projecting Wednesday’s (9/13) Powerball jackpot will increase to $550 million and the one-time cash payout will increase to $266 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are determined before taxes are withheld).
One lucky New Hampshire player purchased a $1 million winning Powerball ticket for the drawing on Saturday (9/9). The player purchased the winning ticket at the T-Bird Mart on West Street in Keene.
“We could not be more thrilled for our New Hampshire Lottery players as this jackpot keeps growing bigger and better, and for the lucky player who won $1 million over the weekend!” said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director, New Hampshire Lottery. “Excitement is in the air as our players continue to win big and we expect ticket sales approaching Wednesday night’s drawing to skyrocket with the growing jackpot. Our fingers are crossed for even more Granite State winners – and remember, it only takes one to win!”
The Powerball drawing results from Monday, September 11, were: 09-25-27-53-66 PB-5 with a Power Play 2.
The $550 million Powerball jackpot has been growing since July 19, when a lucky California player purchased a $1 billion jackpot winning ticket. Monday night’s (9/11) drawing marked the 23rd consecutive Powerball drawing without a winner.
Powerball drawings are held Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59 PM.
Tickets are on sale at more than 1,400 retailers statewide and online at NH iLotteryHomepage. For more information and to play, visit www.nhlottery.com.
