Star NASCAR Driver Bubba Wallace and Governor Sununu to Celebrate Granite State Teachers with the NH Lottery and DraftKings Sunday at NH Motor Speedway

Concord, NH – Star NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace is teaming up with the New Hampshire Lottery and DraftKings to give 10 New Hampshire teachers the race experience of a lifetime. Ten teachers will join Bubba Wallace and Governor Chris Sununu for a special event at 12 PM on Sunday, July 17, on the Embrace Home Loans Stage at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in advance of the Ambetter 301. In addition to meeting Bubba Wallace, each teacher will receive $1,000 from DraftKings to support their classrooms for the upcoming school year. The teachers were chosen at random by the New Hampshire Lottery from a pool of over 100 nominations posted on the New Hampshire Lottery’s Facebook page.

“It is not every day our amazing New Hampshire teachers get to meet NASCAR drivers right before a race, but together with DraftKings, we are excited to make just that happen,” said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director, New Hampshire Lottery. “Our partnership with DraftKings has been instrumental in our ongoing mission to maximize revenue for education in New Hampshire, and we are extremely pleased to be able to team up with DraftKings and Bubba Wallace to recognize some of the very best and most dedicated teachers across the state. I know the entire education community in New Hampshire will be rooting for Bubba Wallace on Sunday!”

The 10 New Hampshire teachers to be honored include:

  • Heather Subock, Winnisquam School District
  • Christy Burke, 2nd Grade Teacher, McDonough Elementary School
  • Allison Elizabeth Vanagel, Special Education Teacher, West High School
  • Colleen West Coates, Psychology Teacher, Londonderry High School
  • Katie Gabriel Hunnewell, Intensive Needs Special Education Teacher, Nashua High School North
  • Kristin Leary Wallace, 5th Grade Teacher, Iber Holmes Gove Middle School
  • Nancy Sliwerski Michaud, 8th Grade Science Teacher, Hillside Middle School
  • Corey Brier, English Teacher, Merrimack Valley High School
  • Tyler Sullivan, Claremont School District
  • Brenda Snyder Lambert, Londonderry School District

Each teacher will receive four tickets to the race.
