Concord, NH – The Mega Millions jackpot is on the rise as the New Hampshire Lottery is anticipating $480 million will be up for grabs during Friday night’s (7/15) drawing. The anticipated $480 million jackpot would be the 10th-largest Mega Millions jackpot on record. The New Hampshire Lottery expects the one-time cash payout to increase to $276 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are determined before taxes are withheld.)

The largest Mega Millions jackpot on record was $1.537 billion, which was won October 23, 2018. The anticipated $480 million Mega Millions jackpot has been growing since April 15, 2022, when a lucky player in Tennessee purchased a $20 million jackpot winning ticket.
