Concord, NH – Without a winner in Saturday night’s drawing, the New Hampshire Lottery is expecting the New Hampshire Powerball jackpot to climb to $394 million for Wednesday night’s drawing. The New Hampshire Lottery projects the Powerball one-time cash payout to increase to $274.6 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are determined before taxes are withheld.)
“We love seeing the excitement from our players across the state as this Powerball jackpot begins to approach $400 million,” said Charlie McIntyre, executive director, New Hampshire Lottery. “This is a life-changing amount of money and we are hoping this Wednesday’s drawing brings us our 12th New Hampshire Powerball winner. I would encourage players to get in on the action in time for Wednesday’s drawing.”
Powerball drawing results from Saturday, January 25, were: 2-9-17-36-67 PB-18 with a Power Play of 2.
This current jackpot is the largest Powerball jackpot since March 2019, when a $768.4 million jackpot was won in Wisconsin. The largest Powerball jackpot on record was $1.586 billion in January 2016, which remains the world record lottery jackpot.
The current Powerball jackpot has been growing since November 2, 2019, when a winning $150 million ticket was sold in California. Since then, there have been 24 consecutive Powerball drawings without a winner.
Powerball drawings are held Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59 PM ET.
