The New Hampshire Lottery projects the Powerball jackpot will reach $448 million for Wednesday’s drawing, which would be the 11th largest Powerball jackpot on record. The New Hampshire Lottery expects the one-time cash payout to reach $271.7 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are determined before taxes are withheld.)
“We love seeing the jackpot approach half-a-billion dollars and so do our players and retailers,” said Charlie McIntyre, executive director, New Hampshire Lottery. “This is a tremendous amount of money and we are hoping to have New Hampshire’s 12th Powerball winner come Wednesday night. Get your tickets at more than 1,250 retailers statewide or through our online iLottery platform. You have to play to win!”
Powerball drawing results from Saturday, March 9, were: 5-6-45-55-59 PB-14 with a Power Play of 3.
This is the largest Powerball jackpot since last October when two winning tickets split a $687.8 million jackpot. The Powerball jackpot has been growing since December 26, 2018, when a $298.3 million winning ticket was claimed by a player from Brooklyn, New York.
The largest Powerball jackpot on record was $1.586 billion in January 2016, which is the world record lottery jackpot.
Powerball drawings are held Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59 PM ET.
