The New Hampshire Lottery is announcing the Mega Millions jackpot is expected to increase to $458 million for tomorrow night’s drawing, which would make it the fourth-largest Mega Millions jackpot on record. This Mega Millions jackpot has been on the rise since January 5, when a lucky Florida player claimed a $451 million prize. The one-time cash payout for Tuesday’s drawing is projected to increase to $274.5 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are determined before taxes are withheld.)

“To have a $458 million Mega Millions jackpot—the fourth-largest in Mega Millions history—is absolutely thrilling for our players and our retailers, who are reporting significant sales increases. The anticipation is building for tomorrow’s drawing,” said Charlie McIntyre, executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery. “I cannot think of a better time for a lucky player to become New Hampshire’s first Mega Millions jackpot winner!”

The Mega Millions drawing results from Friday, March 23, were: 4-8-23-53-59 MB-17 with a Megaplier of 3.

The largest Mega Millions jackpot in history was $656 million, which three winners from Kansas, Illinois and Maryland shared in March 2012.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM and tickets are on sale until 9:50 PM Tuesday.
