One-time cash payout expected to reach $226.7 million
The New Hampshire Mega Millions jackpot is expected to reach $375 million for Tuesday’s drawing, which would make it the 10th largest Mega Millions jackpot on record. The one-time cash payout for tomorrow’s drawing projected to increase to $226.7 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are determined before taxes are withheld.)
“With a $375 million jackpot, Mega Millions is heating up this summer in New Hampshire,” said Charlie McIntyre, executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery. As the jackpot has continued to grow over the last couple weeks, the anticipation has risen accordingly with our players and retailers. We have never had a Mega Millions jackpot winner here in New Hampshire. Our time is now—players, get your tickets!”
The Mega Millions drawing results from Friday, July 13, were: 21-22-39-59-68 MB-2 with a Megaplier of 2.
The current Mega Millions jackpot has been growing since May 4, when a lucky Ohio player claimed a $142 million prize. The largest Mega Millions jackpot in history was $656 million, which three winners from Kansas, Illinois and Maryland shared in March 2012.
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM and tickets are on sale until 9:50 PM Tuesday.
