The New Hampshire Mega Millions jackpot is on the rise, climbing to an estimated $367 million for tomorrow’s drawing. The New Hampshire Lottery expects the one-time cash payout for Tuesday’s drawing to increase to $213.9 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are determined before taxes are withheld.)
“We can feel the anticipation and excitement rising as the Mega Millions jackpot has continued to grow over the past few months,” said Charlie McIntyre, executive director, New Hampshire Lottery. “Now with $367 million up for grabs tomorrow night, retailers across the state are reporting strong sales. We would love to have our first New Hampshire Mega Millions jackpot winner tomorrow night.”
The Mega Millions drawing results from Friday, September 28, were: 39-45-52-56-59 MB-15 with a Megaplier of 3.
This $367 million jackpot, which would be the 11th-largest Mega Millions jackpot on record, has been growing since July 24, when an 11-member office pool in California won a $543 million jackpot. With no winner this past Friday, there have now been 19 straight Mega Millions drawings without a jackpot winner. The largest Mega Millions jackpot in history was $656 million, which three winners from Kansas, Illinois and Maryland shared in March 2012.
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM and tickets are on sale until 9:50 PM Tuesday. Tickets are on sale at more than 1,400 retailers statewide, as well as through the New Hampshire Lottery’s new online platform, iLottery. For more information and to play, visit www.nhlottery.com.
