CONCORD, N.H. – The New Hampshire Lottery is waiting to crown some ‘Big Money’ winners as three $100,000 prizes have yet to be claimed for the scratch ticket game. Launched on May 31, 2016, the $5 Big Money scratch ticket initially featured more than $1 million in prizes ranging from $5 to $100,000. In addition to the three outstanding $100,000 winning tickets, there are still 19 winning tickets worth $1,000 waiting to be claimed.
“With just 4-percent of Big Money scratch tickets still available for purchase, now is the time to buy as the game is on the verge of selling out,” said Charlie McIntyre, executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery. “Where are these golden winning tickets? We cannot wait to meet our three remaining $100,000 winners!”
Laurette Baenziger of Manchester claimed a $100,000 winning Big Money ticket on June 2, 2016. That winning ticket was purchased at 777-Express in Manchester.
In addition to these three outstanding $100,000 Big Money winners, the New Hampshire Lottery is announcing that Manchester resident Shanna Jackson claimed the first $100,000 top prize in the new $5 Double Sided Dollars scratch game, which is the first double-sided scratch ticket in New Hampshire Lottery history. Jackson bought her $100,000 winning $5 Double Sided Dollars ticket at 777-Express in Manchester as well and claimed her ticket on Thursday, March 2.
The $5 Double Sided Dollars scratch game launched this week. With the first top prize claimed, this new game features three more chances to win the $100,000 grand prize. Prizes range from $5 to $100,000. The ticket has the customary “scratch area” on the front of the ticket, as well as an additional scratch area on the back of the ticket.
“We are excited to offer the unique and innovative $5 Double Sided Dollars game to our players and we are absolutely thrilled to already have a $100,000 winner,” McIntyre said. “This the first time the New Hampshire Lottery has offered a double-sided ticket and we know our players will love flipping the ticket over for more chances to win.”
Big Money and Double Sided Dollars are being sold at Lottery retailers statewide.
