Cash option expected to reach $558 million
CONCORD, N.H. – The nation’s largest Powerball jackpot has grown yet again, reaching $900 million for the drawing to take place tonight. The Powerball jackpot has been increasing since November 4. The one-time cash payout is projected to increase to $558 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are before taxes).
If there is no Grand Prize winner for tonight’s Powerball drawing the estimated jackpot for next Wednesday, January 13 will be $1.3 Billion ($1,300,000,000).
Powerball tickets are on sale at more than 1,250 retailers in New Hampshire until 9:50 p.m. Saturday. Powerball tickets cost $2 per play. Drawings are held Wednesdays and Saturdays at 11:00 PM.
