Concord, NH – The Powerball jackpot is quickly climbing into the record books, as the New Hampshire Lottery estimates tomorrow night’s (9/27) Powerball jackpot will increase to $835 million, making it the fourth-largest Powerball jackpot on record. The New Hampshire Lottery estimates the one-time cash payout will increase to $390.4 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are determined before taxes are withheld.)
“With $835 million on the line, the excitement is off the charts for New Hampshire players and retailers. I would love nothing more than to see one of our players win this life-changing prize,” said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director, New Hampshire Lottery. “Online and retail sales have been taking off, with Powerball ticket sales exceeding $1.3 million last week alone, and we anticipate sales to continue growing leading up to the drawing tomorrow night. We wish the best of luck to all of our New Hampshire players!”
