With no winner in Tuesday night’s drawing, the New Hampshire Mega Millions jackpot is expected to increase to $421 million for Friday’s drawing—which would make it the fifth-largest Mega Millions jackpot on record. The one-time cash payout is projected to increase to $250.7 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are determined before taxes are withheld.)

“With the fifth-largest New Hampshire Mega Millions jackpot on record, the Mega Millions buzz is on the rise!” said Charlie McIntyre, executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery. “Whenever jackpots hit the $400 million mark, the excitement and sales really start to pick up and retailers are already reporting brisk sales for Friday’s drawing. Get your tickets now so you can have a chance to be New Hampshire’s first Mega Millions jackpot winner.”

The Mega Millions drawing results from Tuesday, March 20, were: 14-38-51-64-70 MB-9 with a Megaplier of 3.

The largest Mega Millions jackpot in history was $656 million, which three winners from Kansas, Illinois and Maryland shared in March 2012. This current $421 million Mega Millions jackpot has been growing since January 5, when a lucky Florida player claimed a $451 million prize.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM and tickets are on sale until 9:50 PM Friday.
